1. No-torque Torx wrench or hammer wrench:

It is suitable for tightening the flanges of general machinery and equipment and pipelines, and is adopted according to the screw specifications and the working pressure level of the flange. The tightening regulations are as follows:

1) The equipment maintenance company formulates a tightening plan, tightens the flange symmetrically, and develops the tightening sequence number. Refer to Figure 1 and Figure 2 for the number.

2) Use 4 screws at the positions 1, 2, 3, and 4 for precise positioning of the gasket to ensure that the management center of the wound gasket is within the flange edge.

3) Tighten the fixed screws by hand, then insert other nuts and screws and tighten them to balance the load, ensuring that at least two external threads are exposed on each end of the nut.

4) According to the machine equipment and flanges on the spot, one tightening is calculated as one time, and the tightening frequency (at least 3 times) and the hammering load (amplitude) for each tightening are effectively established. The tightening hammering load (amplitude) is as small as Tighten it one after the other (such as 50%, 80%, 100% growth), and do not load the load too fast or too large to avoid invalid sealing of the gasket.

5) The sequence of each tightening of a torqueless torx wrench or hammer wrench:

a. Tighten the two axially relative screws to the screw to clearly beat the load (amplitude);

b. Tighten the other pair of screws at a distance of about 90 degrees along the circle from the last two screws;

c. Tighten again until all other screws are tightened to a clear thumping load.

6) Finally, tighten all the screws in the clockwise direction or the opposite direction according to the 100% hammer load (amplitude).
