Increase friction: Cover the stripped screw head with a rubber pad or cloth, then try to loosen it with a wrench.

Vibration loosening: Gently tap around the screw, and lubricate any rusted areas with a penetrating oil (such as WD-40).

2. Professional Tools

Screw extractor: Drill a hole in the stripped area, then screw in the extractor and rotate it in the opposite direction.

Drilling: In extreme cases, drilling may damage the screw; proceed with caution.

3. Preventive Measures

Regularly check the bolt preload and use spring washers or threadlocker to prevent loosening.

Avoid overtightening; choose a wrench and bolt strength rating that match the bolt.
