1. Preparation
Tool Selection: Prepare a Phillips screwdriver or electric screwdriver (with adjustable torque) depending on the screw type. For hard materials, use an electric drill and drill bit.
Material Inspection: Ensure the screw is undamaged and the mounting surface is clean and free of oil, dirt, and rust. Avoid pre-drilling holes in plastic parts.
2. Positioning and Pre-Drilling (Hard Materials)
Metal/Hard Plastic: Pre-drill a hole 80%-90% of the screw diameter (e.g., use a 2.5mm drill bit for an M3 screw).
Wood/Soft Plastic: Screw directly into the material without pre-drilling.
3. Vertical Screwing
Keep the screw perpendicular to the material surface. Start at a low speed and then gradually increase the speed to avoid tilting and damaging the threads.
For plastic parts, stop tightening until it is slightly deformed. For metal parts, tighten until the head is flush with the material. 4. Quality Inspection
Gently shake the screws to confirm they are not loose. When installing multiple screws, apply force symmetrically.
