1. Tightness Check
Confirm the nut is not loose. You can tap it lightly with a wrench to test for a crisp sound (a dull sound indicates looseness).
Check if the bolt end protrudes 1-2 threads from the nut to ensure proper installation.
2. Appearance and Function Verification
Inspect the nut surface for cracks, deformation, or wear on the nylon ring (self-locking nuts worn more than 1/3 should be replaced).
Test anti-loosening performance: Gently shake the connecting parts to confirm no abnormal displacement.
3. Regular Maintenance
In high-frequency vibration or high-temperature environments, the inspection cycle should be shortened. It is recommended to inspect at least once a month.
If looseness or wear is found, immediately retighten to the standard torque or replace the nut.
